Swim-by

This is the next step in training. Once the Complete Retriever program is done the next step is to take all the skills learned on land and teach the dog to do it in the water. The training is fairly quick for most dogs (depending on the dog's water attitude). The training requires warm water, thus can only be done at certain times of the year. An experienced handler can often take their dog, after the dog has completed an intermediate handling program, and complete the Swim-by training on their own. We maybe even be able to coach you along as you do your best. If you are unsure of how to do this or prefer a more polished product we can do this for you.
